The lyrics are still metaphysical mush, but the music on the Canadian outfit’s 17th album in as many years resonates with a sweet serenity that’s uncharacteristic for the dour power trio. “Bravado” and “Dreamline” could bring Rush an audience beyond the faithful adolescent-male base that has sustained the group for so long despite its inability to conquer hit radio.
