We were pleased to see the Aug. 18 travel story, “Cool Time to Avoid Maine Crowds,” on Acadia National Park. Judi Dash is certainly correct about autumn being the best time for a visit to this little gem of the National Park System (particularly during the height of fall-foliage color in the first 10 days or so of October). A couple of misspellings crept into the story: the names are Asticou Inn, in Northeast Harbor, and the Jordan Pond House, near Seal Harbor.
