It is appropriate at this time to review matters relating to the nomination of Supreme Court justices.

When this government was set up and the Constitution created, the Founding Fathers aimed to create a government subject to the will of the majority with protection for the minorities. They created a three-part system so no one part could rule.

Spin doctors have successfully subverted the intent of the Constitution by stating that any trained justice the ruling executive appoints should be confirmed if no great flaws of any sort are found.

Liberals and conservatives when in power have both propounded this theory. This does not mean it’s right.

The appointments of young and politically active and politically motivated justices in the last 10 years are an attempt to subvert the Constitution.
