COUNTYWIDE : Hospital Offers Exams for Athletes

Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura will offer free physicals and neck X-rays to anyone who wants to participate in the 1991-92 season of the Ventura County Special Olympics.

The services will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday in the ambulatory unit. Parking is available at the rear of the hospital.

Nearly 600 athletes take part in the program each year. Before training or competing in the program, interested participants must file an updated medical registration form in the Special Olympics office.
