‘Pope’ Pays a Visit to Bosco Tech Picnic

A surprise guest showed up at Don Bosco Technical Institute’s recent freshman picnic and initiation activities--Pope John Paul II. Actually, it was celebrity double Gene Greytak who visited the all-boys polytechnic school in Rosemead.

The papal impersonator has appeared in several motion pictures, including “Hot Shots,” and has been seen on “The Tonight Show.”

Greytak is scheduled to meet the Pope for the first time in November at the Vatican.
