AT&T; Asks Court for Ruling: American Telephone & Telegraph wants the court to force the FCC to rule on its complaint that rival MCI Communications never notified the commission of some pricing plans. AT&T; asked the U.S. Court of Appeals in the District of Columbia to give the commission 30 days to rule on its 2-year-old complaint. The complaint says MCI put into effect prices and services for some business customers without informing the FCC. Federal law requires long-distance companies to tell the FCC what prices they charge, although every company except AT&T; may change prices on a one-day notice.
