COLLEGE FOOTBALL DAILY REPORT : UCLA : LaChapelle Is Doing Swell
Almost overlooked in UCLA’s 27-24 loss to California Saturday at the Rose Bowl was the play of Bruin split end Sean LaChapelle.
He established career highs in catches, eight, and yards, 136. For the season, he has caught 22 passes for a 16.3-yard average and four touchdowns.
“In my opinion, he is one of the most underrated receivers in America,” quarterback Tommy Maddox said.
