Veto of Gay Rights Bill

How riveting to learn that Gov. Pete Wilson vetoed the gay rights bill, which would outlaw job discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, because it would create burdens on small businesses. His reasoning clearly invokes suspicion when taxes on small businesses are raised to record levels. His argument for vetoing the bill is a cover-up of the real reason, which is fear of extremists.
