CHP Orders $750,000 Worth of Motorcycles From Kawasaki

Kawasaki Motors Corp. U.S.A. said Thursday that it has received an order for more than $750,000 worth of motorcycles from the California Highway Patrol. Delivery is scheduled to begin this month.

The Irvine-based motorcycle importer and distributor has been supplying the CHP and other police agencies with motorcycles since 1978.

The heavy-duty motorcycles are built at the Kawasaki plant in Lincoln, Neb.
