Congressional Check-Bouncing

So congressmen are normal Americans doing their banking. Most check writers either write insufficient-funds checks or draw on their credit-card accounts; ask any banker. Lunch charges of $300,000 amount to less than $700 per member. Many members of athletic clubs, country clubs and luncheon clubs easily exceed that amount per month. Give your congressman a break! Remember he or she makes much less than most business executives, doctors, entertainers, professional athletes and lawyers.

Americans have become world champs at “bash and blame.” I am sick of it!

Come on, Americans, count your blessings and appreciate the many positives in our great country. Like it or not, we share common interests and common needs and unless we take responsibility now for our shared future, our mindless bashing will lead nowhere but to disaster.
