MWD’s Changes in Water Policy
The changes in direction of the MWD board emphasizing water marketing and environmental protection are worthy of recognition and applause from California’s environmentally concerned populace. The Environmental Defense Fund has frequently criticized the MWD in the past. No doubt we will again differ from MWD on many issues in the future. But for now we offer our congratulations to MWD and commit to working with MWD to implement the fine policies it has enunciated.
