National Health Care Systems Inc. said Tuesday that it has won a contract to provide dental coverage for the 6,700 members of the California Ironworkers Union.
The two-year-contract will be worth $1 million to $2 million, National Health Chairman Carl E. Bozzo said.
National Health, based in Laguna Niguel, owns DentiCare, the third-largest dental health maintenance organization in California, with over 360,000 members.
On Nov. 25, National Health will be merged into Foundation Health Care Inc. of Rancho Cordova, pending regulatory approval, Bozzo said.
