VENTURA : 4 Candidates Backed by Labor Council

The 40,000-member Tri-Counties Central Labor Council, which represents workers in the public and private sectors, has announced its endorsements of candidates for the Ventura City Council and the Ventura Unified School Board.
The labor council endorsed incumbent Deputy Mayor Donald Villeneuve and nursery owner Greg Carson for election to the Ventura City Council.
And it backed Judy Alexandre and Cliff Rodrigues for the two seats on the Ventura Unified School Board.
The council represents workers in the counties of Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo.
