New Coliseum Plan Isn’t Going to Work
I just read about the Coliseum’s bold new plan to raise ticket prices on 10,000 choice seats to roughly $225 per game. I’m sure these seats will be snapped up by the seven or eight thousand people who regularly attend Raider games. But then all those general admission seats will be empty.
Pigs will fly before any sensible Raider or Trojan fan pays more than $50 for a good seat. Or are there 10,000 more idiots in Southern California than we’ve previously accounted for?
