Another Hat for Executive: Luther Medical Products Inc., a Tustin manufacturer of catheter systems, appointed W. Tate Scott, president and chief operating officer, to the additional post of chief financial officer.

Scott succeeds Marshall F. Sparks, the public company’s part-time chief financial officer for the past 10 years, who will serve on the company’s board. Sparks left to concentrate on his Tustin consulting firm, Eagle Visions.
