AIDS Benefits: Stars from each of the Center Theatre Group’s shows will participate in a benefit for persons with AIDS Nov. 18 at the Doolittle Theatre. Davis Gaines of “Phantom of the Opera,” John Glover from the upcoming “Henceforward” and Mary Gordon Murray of “Most Happy Fella” will co-host the event, which benefits AIDS Healthcare Foundation, Project Angel Food, Search Alliance and AIDS Project Los Angeles. The roster of performers includes Dale Kristien, Loretta Devine, Georgia Brown and Roger Rees. . . . Equity Fights AIDS will benefit from a special performance of the play “Adrift,” Monday at the Gene Dynarski Theatre in Hollywood. The play recounts the true story of Steve Callahan, who was adrift in the Atlantic for 76 days.
