SIDON, Lebanon —
Opponents of PLO chief Yasser Arafat seized the mainstream PLO faction’s main Lebanon headquarters Thursday, apparently to protest Arafat’s acceptance of the upcoming Middle East peace conference, security officials said.
About 300 Palestine Liberation Organization guerrillas seized the command headquarters of the Fatah faction and most of the rest of the Ein el Hilwa refugee camp, which with at least 33,000 refugees is the largest of 12 Palestinian camps in Lebanon.
