I had such a tough and aggravating time reading Stephens’ article that any pleasure in its contents was badly diluted. There is nothing wrong with my eyes, and I heartily agree with Stephens’ observations and comments.
So what is my beef? Glare! Glare and reflections from the slick coated paper. I can put up with that sticky ink mess. But the glare is making reading The Times Magazine just plain miserable for me.
