Canada Connection: Novadyne Computer Systems Inc. in Santa Ana is expanding to Canada. The company said Monday that it acquired a small Canadian firm that repairs and maintains minicomputers.
Novadyne purchased Omnibit Computer Systems Inc. in Toronto for an undisclosed price, said Pat Dwight, a Novadyne spokeswoman. The company maintains computers made by Tandem Computers Inc., Digital Equipment Corp. and Data General Inc.
