VENTURA : Man Claiming to Be Armed Robs Bank
A man claiming to be armed with a concealed weapon robbed a Security Pacific National Bank branch in Ventura on Tuesday, police said.
The robber entered the bank in the 500 block of East Main Street at 11:35 a.m. and handed a teller a note declaring he had a gun, although he did not display one, police said. He was given an undisclosed amount of cash and fled.
No one was reported injured in the robbery, police said.
