Two men and two juveniles have been arrested in connection with an Oct. 4 drive-by shooting in Spring Valley that left two adults and a 6-year-old boy wounded, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said.

On Friday, Andres Manuel Martinez, 20, and an unidentified 12-year-old boy were arrested in connection with the shooting in the 600 block of Clamath Street, Sheriff’s Detective Sheila Anderson said Monday.

Each was charged with three counts of attempted murder, six counts of assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit murder and shooting at an inhabited dwelling, Anderson said. Martinez was also charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.

The shooting left 6-year-old Adrian Leyva with a leg wound and his father, 31-year-old George Leyva, with a back wound. A neighbor, 31-year-old Robert Smith, was wounded in the back.

The suspects and the victims knew each other, Anderson said. The suspects’ addresses were not given, and it was not announced where they were being held.

On Oct. 7, Vincent Pete Valadez Sr., 34, and an unidentified 14-year-old boy were arrested in connection with the incident, Anderson said. The two were charged with attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder in connection with the shooting.

Valadez was being held without bail in County Jail downtown, and the juvenile was being held without bail in Juvenile Hall. Their addresses were not released.

Another suspect is still at large.
