Cirque du Vegas: The famed Cirque du Soleil will establish a permanent North American home at the Mirage in Las Vegas, executives for both companies said Tuesday. Cirque’s premiere performance at the resort will take place Nov. 22, 1992, to commemorate the third anniversary of the Mirage. Previously, AT&T; announced that it will be the presenting sponsor of Cirque during its 1991-92 tour of the United States. A new Cirque du Soleil production will tour the West Coast next year.
