Trout Can Be Caught Even After Season Ends
The Eastern Sierra trout season will close after Thursday, but anglers can legally catch trout the year around at Pleasant Valley Reservoir and in the Owens River south to Tinnemaha Reservoir.
The wild trout area south of Pleasant Valley Reservoir Campground to Five Bridges Road will also remain open, with a two-fish limit. The Owens River limit is five fish a day.
Fishing throughout the Eastern Sierra has slowed because of wind, rain and snow.
