Facts for a Day at the Races

The Goodyear Orange County Marathon will start on State College Boulevard, in front of Anaheim Stadium. The Rollerblade and wheelchair divisions will start at 7:05 a.m.; runners (including corporate relay teams) will begin at 8 a.m.

Parking will be available near the starting line, although participants are encouraged to park near the end of the course at UC Irvine. Buses will transport participants to the starting line from 5 to 7 a.m.

Late registration is Friday and Saturday at a health and fitness fair at the Irvine Marketplace shopping center across Campus Drive from UCI. Hours are 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. There will be no registration on the day of the race.

Fees will be $35 for individuals in the marathon and Rollerblade marathon, and $25 for competitors in the wheelchair division. For information, call (714) 640-2593 or (800) 345-6685.
