LAGUNA HILLS : Work on Cables Will Disrupt Power

Share

Residents of the Aliso Hills area here can expect occasional power outages during the next five to six weeks while underground electrical cables are replaced, San Diego Gas & Electric announced this week.

The power outages will begin Thursday at about 9 a.m. and will range from a few seconds to five hours, according to the report. But even momentary outages will affect the operation of appliances such as clocks, VCRs and computers, the report stated.

Power will be restored to all customers each day, and the street lights will operate each night, the report stated. Crews will not work Thanksgiving week; service will be normal that week.
