Sophomore Deon Strother has surpassed junior Mazio Royster as USC’s leading rusher and has replaced him as the Trojans’ No. 1 tailback.
In USC’s 52-30 defeat at California last Saturday, Strother ran for 153 yards and two touchdowns in 17 carries, Royster for 31 yards in a season-low four carries.
