World IN BRIEF : EL SALVADOR : Government Warns It May Quit Talks

The government threatened to pull out of peace talks being held in Mexico City if leftist rebels continue a 10-day wave of attacks. The Farabundo Marti National Liberation Front, however, accused the government of a “dirty campaign” and warned of more fighting. In the last 10 days, fighting has left 54 dead and 140 wounded.
