Tennis star Martina Navratilova is suing her former attorney for not protecting her from a palimony lawsuit filed by her former live-in lover, Judy Nelson.
The lawsuit accuses Jerry Loftin of malpractice, saying he represented Navratilova in 1986 and helped in preparing a “non-marital cohabitation agreement” between Nelson and Navratilova.
Earlier this year, Loftin represented Nelson in a palimony lawsuit in which Nelson demanded half of Navratilova’s earnings.
