LOUISIANA RACE

I am a Louisiana native who proudly displays a Confederate flag in my L.A. home. I read with great interest the article on Louisiana politics (“The Rake, the Racist and the New-Age Reformer,” by Richard E. Meyer, Oct. 13).

I lived in Louisiana throughout most of Edwin Edwards’ governorship--which is one reason I chose to move. Buddy Roemer certainly didn’t bring about a desire for me to return. But David Duke, if elected, will have me packing my bags. If there is a man to help the South rise again, he is one.
