Designer’s Own: Escada, a designer of women’s fashion apparel, is going to open a store in South Coast Plaza. But it will barely be in time for Christmas.
The boutique, featuring the entire Escada Margaretha Ley collection, will not open until about Dec. 15, long after most stores will have claimed their share of holiday sales. The company, however, is treating it as a case of better late than never.
