Commercial Furniture: While longtime furniture sellers Barker Bros. and RB Furniture have filed for bankruptcy protection after trying to serve the household market, the Adair Office Furniture chain has been expanding while catering to the commercial market.
Adair has opened a 30,000-square-foot showroom on Brookhollow Drive in Santa Ana that it believes will be the largest display of its kind in the nation. The Cerritos-based retailer also has a store in Huntington Beach and two others outside Orange County.
