Jiri Zidek, a 7-foot freshman from Prague, Czechoslovakia, has been cleared to resume practicing with the UCLA basketball team after undergoing a series of tests this week at the UCLA Medical Center, Coach Jim Harrick said.
Zidek had been held out of practice since Nov. 12, when he complained of heart palpitations during a 112-50 exhibition victory over Trenchin of Czechoslovakia.
