NOBEL FRIEND: Orange Coast College counselor U Kyaw Win, above, will take his wife, son and daughter with him when he attends the Nobel Prize ceremonies in Oslo on Dec. 10. He’s been invited by the husband of 1991 Nobel Peace Prize recipient Aung San Suu Kyi, who remains a political prisoner in Myanmar after two years. Win, 56, her compatriot in the opposition movement, says he wants to honor not only her, but the cause. . . . “We want the government there to know the whole world is watching,” Win says.
