Hatch’s Dealings with BCCI Figures Probed: The dealings of Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) with two men linked to the Bank of Credit & Commerce International scandal are being investigated by law enforcement officials, sources said. Hatch was involved in business deals with Houston entrepreneur Munzer Hourani, and met several times with Mohammed Hammoud, a Lebanese businessman, the sources said. Both men are linked to the bank, at the center of a worldwide scandal involving alleged drug money laundering, arms trafficking and support of terrorists.
