The Region : Red Cross Chapters to Merge
The Pasadena, West San Gabriel Valley and East San Gabriel Valley chapters of the American Red Cross will merge effective July 1, 1992.
The new San Gabriel Valley chapter will serve 29 cities and 1.4 million people through six service centers.
The centers will be in Northwest Pasadena, Monrovia, El Monte, Alhambra, the Puente Hills Mall in the City of Industry and in the Azusa-Covina-Glendora area. They will offer Red Cross services and classes to the public.
The Arcadia and Pomona chapters will remain independent.
