West Covina : Parks to Get Grills, Tables
Eight city parks will get new picnic tables and barbecue grills before summer, city officials said Monday.
City Council members toured city parks in September and found an equipment shortage. The council voted to allocate up to $10,000 for 21 tables and 20 grills.
Other improvements, such as new signs, walkways and play equipment, are planned after officials assess the needs of all school and city facilities.
