ATTENTION: This is the rock ‘n’ roll lineup for the week. If you’re into country, try Crazy Bull in Camarillo, Port Royal in Oxnard, the Ban-Dar or the Chaparral Club in Ventura--or try Bakersfield. For jazz, try Primo Bistro in Camarillo, the Bombay in Ventura or SoHO in Santa Barbara. For karoake, try your shower and give us all a break. For Top 40 brain death cover music, who cares? TONIGHT

*Manzanart (Beach Shack, 500 Anacapa St., Santa Barbara, 966-1634) It’s reggae after “The Simpsons.”

*Fin, Greg & Dave (Alex’s Cantina, 633 State St., Santa Barbara, 966-0032) Remember Pat, Fin & Greg? Well, forget them. Pat went to join Leo (Downey) and now Dave is the new Pat and Fin & Greg are still, well, Fin & Greg. It’s pop rock no matter who’s there.

*Roadhouse Rockers (Art’s Bar, 2611 De la Vina, Santa Barbara, 569-0052) Hard-workin’ rockabilly trio that never seems to take a night off. They must have VCRs. FRIDAY

*Sinister Fisch (McGinty, 1795 Victoria Ave., Ventura, 658-7390) It’s a sports bar in the K-mart shopping center but was it named for the classic Preston Sturges flick? Who knows? What’s certain is that the Fisch band will be playing pop rock tunes off its new tape.

*Tempting Souls (Charlie’s) Nine-piece Watts/Stax type band with horns for daze.

*Tao Jonz (Beach Shack) Joey, who books Alex’s Cantina, says this is the best band in Santa Barbara.

*Tearaways (Alex’s Cantina) Black leather pop rock. SUNDAY

*Mudheads, Chunk (Chaparral Club, 281 W. Main St., Ventura, 643-7321) Every couple of weeks, this cowboy pit stop rocks out on a Sunday afternoon. Melodic garage rock from Chunk and mind-bending original rock from those Mudheads, considered by many local musicians to be the area’s best band. See Night Life. MONDAY

*James Harman (Alexander’s, Harbor Boulevard and Spinnaker Drive, Ventura, 658-2000) He’s got a new album on Black Top Records and he plays a mean harmonica. It’s Blue Monday for those who totter on the verge of indifference when it comes to the Eagles and the Oilers.
