THOUSAND OAKS : Police to Set Up Sobriety Checks
The Thousand Oaks Police Department plans to set up several sobriety checkpoints within the city limits in coming weeks, assisted by members of Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
Department officials said the checkpoints will be set up today, Thursday and Dec. 13, 21 and 28. Informational signs will be posted near the checkpoints to advise motorists, who will detained for a short period and questioned by officers.
