WINDOW PAIN? The latest flap in Laguna Beach involves a proposal to put a sculpture on Main Beach. . . . Some residents will oppose the idea at the City Council tonight, arguing that art on the beach obstructs the city’s primary “window to the sea.” But the city’s staff and Art Commission recommend that the council accept the loan of Ron Taybi’s piece commemorating female emancipation in Iran. Supporters say it’s transparent and won’t obstruct anything.
