COLLEGE BASKETBALL NATIONAL ROUNDUP : Alabama Rallies for 76-61 Win

Robert Horry had 21 points, and blocked five shots as 15th-ranked Alabama pulled away in the second half to defeat Tennessee Chattanooga, 76-61, Tuesday night at Tuscaloosa, Ala.

James Robinson, who scored 14 of his 16 points in the second half, hit a three-pointer to give Alabama (4-0) its first lead of the second half, 36-35, after the Crimson Tide fell behind, 33-27.

After the Moccasins (3-2) regained the lead, Alabama took control by scoring 10 consecutive points for a 45-36 lead.

No. 9 Indiana 78, Notre Dame 46--Calbert Cheaney scored 19 points and the Hoosiers routed the Irish at Bloomington, Ind.

Eric Anderson and Greg Graham added 14 points each for Indiana (2-1). LaPhonso Ellis had 15 points for Notre Dame (0-2).

No. 13 Utah 71, Utah State 62--Jimmy Soto scored seven of his 12 points as the Utes rallied in the final minutes to defeat the Aggies at Logan.

Utah (4-0) was trailing, 55-54, before running away with a 17-6 surge in the final 3:55.

Malloy Nesmith scored 20 points for Utah State (0-2).

No. 17 Georgia Tech 80, Villanova 59--Freshmen Travis Best and James Forrest each scored 19 points and the Yellow Jackets (4-1) downed the Wildcats at Atlanta to square the Atlantic Coast Conference-Big East Challenge at two games apiece.

No. 21 Iowa 83, Drake 56--Acie Earl had 25 points and 12 rebounds for the second game in a row at Iowa City, and the Hawkeyes (3-0) beat the Bulldogs for the 13th consecutive time.
