Pete Rose probably will apply next year for reinstatement to baseball and said he is interested in working for the expansion Florida Marlins, according to a report in the Palm Beach Post. The former Cincinnati Red manager, who agreed to a lifetime ban on Aug. 23, 1989, said he also is interested in a broadcasting job.
