Long Beach Bound: Bill Bushnell is headed for Long Beach. The controversial artistic director of the now-defunct Los Angeles Theatre Center will join the faculty of Cal State Long Beach and the staff of its professional theater group, California Repertory Company, known as CalRep. He’ll raise private funding for the company, assist its expansion into more extended touring and television ventures, teach two graduate classes and direct a CalRep production next season.
