Japan’s Toyota Motor Corp. said it plans to drastically increase imports and the amount of goods its overseas operations buy from local companies, up to $3.1 billion in fiscal 1994, compared to $1.8 billion in fiscal 1990 . . . The Riviera Hotel, one of the largest resorts on the Las Vegas Strip, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection to restructure its debt . . .
