From Times Staff and Wire Reports

Federal narcotics agents raided a Miami warehouse, seizing about three tons of cocaine and discovering an underground vault apparently intended as a hiding place for drugs, authorities said. Drug Enforcement Administration agents discovered the 5-foot-deep, 16-foot-square room beneath an office in the huge warehouse complex, authorities said. No arrests were made. The raid was part of an ongoing investigation involving the second-largest seizure of cocaine in U.S. history, officials said.
