American Telephone & Telegraph Co. said its fourth-quarter profit will be reduced by 14 cents a share as a result of lowering the book value of its investment in an Italian concern. . . . American Express Travel Related Services Co. agreed to acquire Lifeco Travel Services of Houston for an undisclosed sum. Lifeco owns three foreign travel companies and has a 60% interest in Integrated Travel Services Inc. of Canada. . . . Steelcase, the Grand Rapids, Mich.-based office furniture maker, said it will lay off 761 employees effective Jan. 6. . . . The shareholders of Chula Vista-based Rohr Industries Inc. have voted to change the name of the corporation to Rohr Inc.
