NO BUMMER: The site of Bennie the Bum’s Diner, the offbeat, all-night Laguna Beach coffee shop that closed in September, will soon come alive. . . . Sandy Scott, owner of the Cocamo Cafe in Laguna Beach, will open a second restaurant at the Bennie’s site. But Bennie’s boogieing waitresses and late-night songfests will be replaced by a “Casablanca theme,” plus health food and cream cheese brownies, she says. “I didn’t tell anybody I was doing this, and the whole town knows.”
