Share

The city of Ventura is looking for residents interested in serving four years on the newly established Art-In-Public-Places Advisory Committee.

The seven-member committee, whose volunteer members will be appointed by March, will oversee and guide the city’s new Art-In-Public-Places program by selecting artists and artwork for public building projects. The committee will also advise the City Council on matters related to art.

The committee was established by a resolution the Ventura City Council approved Nov. 4. The resolution requires that at least three of the committee members be professional artists or designers.
