Man Hurt as 300-Pound Wife Sits on His Chest
A 300-pound woman nearly smothered her husband by sitting on him during a dispute, police said. The man was hospitalized Saturday in critical condition and the woman was in custody.
The man had threatened to get a gun during an argument when his wife pushed him to the ground and sat on his head and chest, cutting off his breathing, police said, adding that the couple’s two children helped hold the man.
The woman, who had not been charged, remained jailed without bond. A court hearing was set for today for consideration of charges.
