The driver and passenger of a support vehicle in the Paris-Cape Town auto rally were killed near Sabah, Libya, when their Range Rover flipped over and crashed in the desert, a rally spokesman said.

Laurent Le Bourgeois and Jean-Marie Sounillac died instantaneously in an accident that occurred about 200 yards from the finish line of the rally's second stage, a 261-mile desert run between Sirte and Sabah.
