From Times Staff and Wire Reports

Former Ku Klux Klansman David Duke won’t get on the ballot for the Massachusetts Republican presidential primary because his campaign failed to gather enough signatures, Duke supporters said. “It’s obvious we’re not going to have enough to get on the ballot,” said Alan Balboni, state coordinator of the Duke drive. The drive to get the required 2,500 names of registered Republicans and independent voters fell short at Friday’s deadline for local officials to certify signatures, according to a Boston Herald survey.
